The Show Choir Studios
I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2017 with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications. Throughout my educational career there was one thing that kept me motivated - performing. I've been a part of choirs from 3rd grade all the way up to my senior year of college. In high school I performed in Waubonsie Valley High School's Vocal movement and performed/directed Illinois State University's Show Choir, Vocal Movement. Performing has always had a positive impact on my life.
Upon graduation I was sad to leave performing behind. In 2022 I took the leap and auditioned for my first community theatre production and now here we are almost two years and 6 shows later. Community theatre has been a great way to get involved in the community and meet some wonderful people. Though, Show Choir still holds a strong place in my heart. Which brings us to where we are today! I am very excited to be able to share my experience and expertise with you.
During each session, performers will learn vocals and choreography to some of music's greatest hits. With there being many moving parts to put together a Show Choir set, performers will get to see, and learn, first hand on how the process works.
